ACT for Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia (FM) is a chronic pain condition associated with physical disability, and high rates of depression. Current approaches to managing FM have yielded mixed results in terms of long-term improvements in physical symptoms, disability, and depression. The current pilot study examined the efficacy of individual Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for women with FM, compared to an education-control.
