Multi-million Dollar RFT Awarded

January 10, 2015

It is a wonderful affirmation of the potential value of RFT vetted through a mainstream review process. That should embolden RFT interested researchers around the world to both be themselves and to build the alliances needed to address mainstream issues. The years Dermot and Yvonne have spent doing precisely that are the context of this award.

Even more, however, it is an opportunity for advancement. ACT and RFT have co-evolved

but the full clinical implications of RFT qua RFT is only now being explored.

Matthieu, Jen, and I have a book coming on one conceptual attempt to do so.

You see additional empirical potential in IRAP studies, deictic studies, fluency studies and so on but exploring this fully requires new data and really that means funding and a multiyear effort. Dermot and Yvonne are a great team to lead that effort.

Who knows where this will lead ... but I pr edict it will open up new avenues for all of us.
