Intensive ACT Workshop in the Research Triangle

ACT at Duke

Updated: Jan 27, 2020

ACT at Duke is partnering with ACT Carolinas, an affiliate of the MidAtlantic Chapter of ACBS to bring an intermediate ACT workshop to the Research Triangle. We have received a ton of requests for a training in this area and are excited to bring together a community of providers interested in honing ACT skills.

The workshop will be led by Peer-Reviewed ACT Trainers (Rhonda Merwin, PhD, Miranda Morris, PhD and Jennifer Plumb-Vilardaga, PhD). The workshop will also include the option of attending an ACT Primer (for providers less familiar with the model) or a training using Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) to enhance your ACT practice (led by FAP Trainer, Holly Yates, PhD). In the afternoon/evening, attendees may join meetings on joining ACT Carolinas, a Q&A about becoming an ACT trainer or collaborative discussions of research in contextual behavioral science.

Details for registering can be found on our events page in early 2020.
